She was predeceased by: her husband Marvin Hawkins; her parents, Bernie Nunn and Elizabeth Cruse Nunn; and her siblings, Eileen, Mary, Dolly, Edison and Junior.
She is survived by: her children, Connie Benningfield and Aaron Hawkins; her granddaughters, Jacqueline Newton, Lisa Childress (Johnny) and Jessica LeHotta (Sterling); and her great grandchildren, Anthony, Brandon, Allen Stinnett, Lindsey Cowles Bryd, Justin, Logan Childress, Arya and Jemma LeHotta. She is also survived by five great-great-grandchildren.
