She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Charles Thomas "C. T."; her parents, Earl Wathen and Mary Jane Thompson Wathen; her siblings, Helen McGuffey, Allene Elliott, Tommy, Burlin, Gene and Jim Wathen; her son Layton Earl Wheeler of Hodgenville; her brother Paul Wathen (Glenda) of Hodgenville; and her niece Tracy Wathen. She was also cherished by numerous other nieces and nephews.
