He was predeceased by: his parents, Roscoe Fulkerson and Lena Lawson Fulkerson; his siblings, William Fulkerson, Leonard Fulkerson and Margaret Priddy; his half-sisters, Addie Carby and Ressie Murray; and his grandson Chris Van Meter.
He is survived by: his wife Hazel Miles Fulkerson of Hodgenville, KY.; and his children, Charles Fulkerson, Jr. of Hodgenville, KY, Rodney Fulkerson of Hodgenville, KY, Peggy Fulkerson Carroll (Michael) of Elizabethtown, KY and Beverly Fulkerson Atwell (Steve) of Louisville. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild and several nieces and nephews.
