It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joe Vandergriff of Hickory, Kentucky, who passed away on November 13, 2021, at the age of 60, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Phyllis Russell Vandergriff; his parents, John Leonard and Betty Geraldine Vandergriff (Jones); and his brother Vester Vandergriff. He is survived by: his daughter Crystal Russell of Hickory, KY; his granddaughter Kylie Fagan of Hickory, KY; and his sister Rexie Cunningham of Paducah, KY. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
