He was predeceased by: his parents, Telles Newman and Lula Newman; and his brother Wayne Newman. He is survived by: his wife Celeste Newman; his daughter Kathryn Newman of Cincinnati, OH; and his sisters, Michele Mauldin of Hopkinsville, KY and Sara Rigdon of Henderson, KY..
