He was predeceased by: his parents, Zenah Bain and Frances Teater Jr. (Cunningham). He is survived by: his son Joshua Bain Teater (Ashley) of Lexington, KY; his sister Jane Teater Bruno of Lexington, KY; his grandsons, Bain and Brooks Teater; and his friend Denise Kasell. He is also survived by three nieces and two nephews.
