She was predeceased by: her parents, Johnny R. VanDyke and IwLo Gene VanDyke (Jones); her daughter Brandi Gayle Owens; and her siblings, Johnny VanDyke, Paul VanDyke, Gene VanDyke, Lillie Doty and Geneva Pearl Penman.
She is survived by: her children, Wendy Owens Cottrill of Lexington and Pete Bolden Owens III of Frankfort; her siblings, Dessie Mae Brown of Harrodsburg, KY, Arnetta Bottoms of Harrodsburg, KY, Gloria Bowman of Harrodsburg, KY and Allen VanDyke (Jacqueline) of San Jose, CA; her grandchildren, Peter Owens, Ashley Owens, Alexis Owens, Nick Owens, Gary Campbell and Tory Richardson; her great grandchildren, Davin Richardson, Devaughn Richardson, Destiny Richardson, Jhasten Douglas, Talia Downey, Taariah Owens, Taliyah Jackson, Taahira Fischer, Joaquin Dosequis, Griselda Dosequis and Winter Owens; and her great great grandchild Zaiden Richardson. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
