It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Douglas Walter Williams Sr. (Harrodsburg, Kentucky), who passed away on December 10, 2023, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter B. Williams and Verda Bowman Williams; his son Douglas Williams, Jr.; and his siblings, Denny, Ralph, Jim Williams and Norma Lee Morris.
He is survived by: his daughters, Jennifer Tyree (Rodney) of Mercer County and April Williams of Mercer County; his siblings, Donald Williams of Montana, Randy Williams (Debbie) of Shelbyville, Carolyn Rucker of Shelbyville, Benda Reid of Simpsonville, Bonnie Clark of Shelbyville and Linda Fraley of Shelbyville; his grandchildren, Bethany Mobley, Clayton Mobley (Hannah), Adam Mobley, Sean Tyree, Brandon Tyree, Trevor Tyree, Dustin Tyree, Carmen Dorsey (Justin), Austin Williams (Morgan), Ashleigh Barrett (Tyler), Gage Williams (Summer), Presley Williams (Myles), Bo Mobley (Joleigh), Luke Britton, Eli Turpen and Jacelyn Turpen; his great grandchildren, Ashton Tyree, Rileigh Tyree, Owen Tyree, Elora Tyree, Melody Mobley, Harper Mobley, Ira Williams, Ellianna Williams, Mackenzie Carrier and Kyler Dorsey; and his former wife Melissa Mink Williams. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
