She is survived by: her children, Melanie Lane (Carlos), Carl Brent Carey of Harrodsburg, KY and Shane Carey of Harrodsburg, KY; her grandchildren, Ashley Lane, Jennifer Slone, Matthew Carey and Zachary Carey; and her great grandchild Waylon Carey.
