It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Andrew Layne of Harold, Kentucky, born in Martin, Kentucky, who passed away on January 2, 2024, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Layne and Lillian Walters Layne; and his sisters, Lila Maynard, Jane Ratcliff and Jeanetta Layne.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Roberts Layne of Harold; his son Bryan Layne (Christene) of Dana; his sister Patricia Hall of Logansport, IN; his grandsons, Logan Layne (Kelsey) and Dawson Layne (Caley); and his great grandchild Clay Layne.
Funeral: 12 Noon Friday January 5, 2024 Betsy Layne Freewill Baptist Church, Officiating: Barry Clark, Interment: Davidson Memorial Gardens- Ivel, KY, In Lieu of flowers donations are requested in William's Memory to the Kylie's Kids Foundation (Kylie Clark).
