He was predeceased by: his parents, Preston Bevins and Lou Thacker Bevins; his children, Dewayne Bevins and Karen Bevins; and his siblings, Bill Bevins, Ernest Bevins, Nathaniel Bevins, Claude Bevins, Phillip Bevins, Stevie Bevins, Floyd Bevins, Francis Asberry, Mollie Showblock and Viecie Turner.
He is survived by: his wife Alberta Hunt Bevins; his children, Gary Bevins (Hilda) of Clay City, Richard Bevins of Betsy Layne, Kentucky, Vertie Stratton (Ricky) of Martin, Debra Bevins (Joey) of Lexington and Shelia Hoover (Derick) of Prestonsburg, Kentucky; his sister Lola Jean Brown of Tennessee; and his great grandchild Along. He is also survived by 9 Grandchildren.
All visitation and funeral services will be private and for Immediate Family only in Compliance with the Governor's request for COVID-19 restrictions.
