It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elizabeth Barrens of Harold, Kentucky, born in Louisville, Kentucky, who passed away on December 20, 2020, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Harold F. Barrens (Hal); her parents, Martha Haick and George Haick; and her siblings, Albert Haick, Alex J. Haick, Sr., Dr. Edward Haick and Marie McClellan.

She is survived by: her son Mark Ellis Barrens (Kathy); her granddaughter Sara Delaney Barrens; her sisters, JoAnn Haick and Angela DeWeese; and her sister-in-law Hester H. Haick. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins.

She asked that, in lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy be sent to the Salvation Army, Beargrass Christian Church or Christian Appalachian Project in Lexington.
