With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Wanda Owens of Harlan, Kentucky, born in Evarts, Kentucky, who passed away on December 11, 2020 at the age of 79. She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude Hall and Pearl Ellenburg Hall; her husband Fred N. Owens, Sr.; and her siblings, Bill, Elmer, Homer, Charles Hall and Louise Dean.
She is survived by: her children, Fred N. Owens, Jr. (Vickie) of Harlan, Sandra Owens of Harlan, Audrey Gooden of London and Bob Owens (Phylis) of Pulaski, TN; her grandchildren, Chris Owens, Katie Johnson, Daniel Gooden, Nick Hensley, Sam Owens, Grace Gerlach, Jeremy Jackson and Jason Jackson; and her siblings, Jim Hall (Debbie), Bob Hall (Judy), Henry Hall, Margie Farley and Claudette Grubbs. She is also survived by nieces, nephews.
Burial will be in the Resthaven Cemetery at Keith with Family and Friends serving as Pallbearers. (Funeral services will be recorded for those who may not be able to attend and will be posted with her obit on http://www.aljfh.com) Covid-19 Restrictions of 50% of our capacity, face masks, and social distancing all set by the Governor of Kentucky shall be followed.
