He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Kirby and Janie Gilbert Kirby; his sons, Michael Gene and Steven Arnold Kirby; his son-in-law Troy King; and his siblings, Arnold Kirby (Pat), Wayne Kirby (Arlie), Dan Kirby, Loretta Howard and Daisy Deleon.
He is survived by: his wife Joy Mullins Kirby; his daughters, Gayle Long (Charles), Rhonda King (Jones Creek) and Lisa Witt (Tommy); his granddaughters, Abragail Kirby (Nathan Young), Lauren Kirby and Autum Kirby (Dakota Peace); his brother Jerry Kirby (Marilyn); his grandchildren, Beth Kirby, Gary Dale Kirby (Natasha), Jannell Blevins (Brandon), Jared Long (Bethany), Cody King, Macy King (Santos Flores), Drake Witt (Mystery Allen) and Erika Witt (Kaley Riley); his great grandchildren, Isabelle, Hannah, Landon Kirby, Jagger Long, Remington Blevins and Arabella Allen; his great great grandchildren, Grayson Short, Londyn and Natalie Young; and his niece Shelly Kirby.
Per mandates set by the Governor of Kentucky, everyone attending is required to wear some type of face covering and maintain social distancing.
