He was predeceased by: his parents, Acy Bishop and Etna Davis Bishop; his daughter LaTonya Del Bishop; and his siblings, Arnold Bishop and Alma Jeffries.
He is survived by: his spouse Orvenice Davis; his son Larry K.; his daughter-in-law Vicki Bishop of Greensburg; his daughter Rosalind; his son-in-law J. L. Curry of Greensburg; his grandchildren, Mike Bishop (Shawn) of Greensburg, Mindi West (Landon) of Tennessee, Brandon Cox (Dawn) of Tennessee, Cliff Cox (Sarah) of Berea, Heather D. Griffiths (Mike) of Greensburg and Josh Curry (Brandy) of Greensburg; his sister Arlene Jeffries of Greensburg; and his sister-in-law Athena Vaughan of Bowling Green. He is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren.
The family has asked that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Oak Grove Cemetery Fund, Galilean Home, or the Crusade for Children, which can be made at the funeral home.
