He was predeceased by: his parents, Reavly Davis "R. D." and Nell Holder (Parkes); and his siblings, Benny Holder and Ruth Holder Chapman. He is survived by: his wife Glenda Bray; his children, Nancy Holder and Mark Holder (Kim Baskett); and his grandsons, Clayton of Gamaliel, Jon Mark of Gamaliel and Luke Holder of Gamaliel.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude's Children Hospital, or to the Akersville Cemetery in memory of Mr. Holder.
