With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Vernon Willis of Franklin, Kentucky, born in Indianapolis, Indiana, who passed away on June 17, 2022. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ras Willis and Mary Dimple Spears Willis; his wife Shirley Marie Willis; and his sisters, Betty Louise Abney, Nova Mae Benjamin, Myrtle Jewel Ausbrooks, Cleo Willis, Edith Amy Clowers and Geraldine "Jean" Rodie Rush.
He is survived by: his children, Tina Hobbs of Missouri, Edward Willis of Gallatin, TN, Dawn Vaughan of Franklin and Willie Willis of Portland. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
