He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Jasper Wimpee and Mamie Ruth Byrd Wimpee. He is survived by: his wife Ellen Hunter Wimpee of Franklin; his children, Debora Hollars of Franklin, Teresa of Franklin, Troy of Franklin, Joseph of Franklin and Krystal Wimpee of Franklin; and his siblings, Ricky Wimpee of Franklin, Larry Wimpee of Allen County, Dewey Wimpee of Franklin, Linda Perry of Greenville, TN and Patsy Mullin of St. Charles, KY. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren along with several nieces and nephews.
