He was predeceased by: his parents, Sterling Pinson and Marie Ashabrenner Pinson; his wife Betty; and his siblings, Clennon, Jerry, Paul, Don, Mex Pinson, Margie Seng, Rosalie Walker, Grace Burns, Mary Kay Doris and Patsy Catron.
He is survived by: his children, Ronnie Pinson of Rockfield, Robert Pinson of Franklin, Tina Kelley (Dale) of Franklin and Jo Anna Wilson (Len) of Woodburn. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
