He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Lee Barrow and Barbara Lynn Nash Wells; his grandfathers, Richard and Floyd Nash; and his nephews, Josh Hartigan and Chris Garcia.

He is survived by: his wife Ruby Jean Upchurch Barrow of Franklin; his son Richard Dean Barrow (Tiffany Link) of Radcliff, KY; his grandson Korbin Blake Barrow; and his siblings, Tracey Barrow (Jacci) of Cross Plains, TN, Kelly Barrow (Vicki) of Greenbrier, TN and Nodja Shetters (Ty) of Westmoreland, TN. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
