He is survived by: his stepfather Bob Varando; his wife Joan Rediess Duhon; his sisters, Patricia Hanks, Virginia Duhon Thompson and Virna Andrews; and his aunt Effie Hutton. He is also survived by two step children and a step granddaughter.
