He was predeceased by: his father James A. Phillips, Jr.; and his brother Anthony Bryan "Stretch" Phillips. He is survived by: his mother Judy Adams Jones; his wife Julia Johnson Phillips of Scottsville; his children, Jonathan Phillips, Jr. of Scottsville, Justin Phillips of Scottsville, Joseph Phillips of Scottsville, Jacob Phillips of Scottsville, Craig Hinton of Portland, TN and Candace Long of Bowling Green; his brother James Phillips (Alex) of Midland, Texas; his stepmother Sherry Phillips of Texas; and his grandchildren, Easton McPherson, Raeya Phillips of Scottsville and Noah McCarley of Bowling Green.
