He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Clay Gregory and Elizabeth Birdwell Gregory; his wife Lois Gregory; his daughters, Patricia Wainscott Harris and Diane Douglas; and his great grandchild Zoe Elaine Douglas.
He is survived by: his children, Teresa Johnson of Franklin, KY, Reba DeBerry (Dwight) of Franklin, KY, Pam Phillips (Joe W.) of Franklin, KY and Beverly Marcrum (Robbie); his grandchildren, Karen Drummond, Jason Harris, Brian Douglas, Casey Gammons, Preston Johnson, Jami DeBerry, Matt Kinnaird and Wesley Marcrum; and his great grandchild Larry Sullivan.
