It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alfred Leon Thacker Sr. of Franklin, Kentucky, who passed away on April 12, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilbur Thacker and Beatrice Johns Thacker; his wife Sylvia Turner Thacker; his children, Jeff Thacker and Carol Thacker; his brother Jack Thacker; and his great grandchild Dylan Graves.
He is survived by: his children, Al Thacker, Jr. (Angela) of Franklin, Karen Thacker of Franklin and Bonnie Wimpee (Gus) of Franklin; and his brother Wally Thacker. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.
