He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Fizer and Bessie Fizer; his siblings, Roy Fizer and Lois Taylor; his former wife Sharon Fizer; and his daughter Stephanie Grimes.
He is survived by: his friend Jim Wilson; his wife Marita; his children, Mike Ford (Melissa), Charles Ford (Deanna) and Natalie Leet (Mark); his grandchildren, Dalton Leet, Tyler Grimes (Alicia), Ryan Ford, Olivia Johnson (Coty), Makayla Ford, Chase Ford, Andrew Ford and Chloe Leet; and his great grandchildren, Owen Matthew and Rayleigh Ann Grimes.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Sammie's honor to the Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
