She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Shipe and Clara Knoll Shipe; her brother Stanley Shipe; and her nephew Kevin Shirels. She is survived by: her husband Gerald W. "Jerry" Dickson; and her sister Carla Shirels. She is also survived by her four nephews.
