She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev. Thomas Parsons and Eula Parsons (Vanhoose); her husband Rex Yates; her siblings, Bill, Denny, Woody Parsons, Nell Alene Hughes and Ann McClellan; and her granddaughter Maria Tussey.
She is survived by: her children, Kathy Yates of Ironton, OH and Jeff Yates (Kim) of Russell, KY; her grandchildren, Lindsey Bennett (Brandon) of Ironton, OH, Leslie Thomas of South Ashland, KY, McKenzie Yates of Arvada, CO and Cindi Harris (Lonnie) of Versailles, KY; and her great grandchildren, Olivia Bennett, Jackson Thomas, Owen Bennett, Norah Tussey, Jocelyn Thomas and Clara Bennett. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and family.
