He was predeceased by: his father McKinley Reffett Sr.; his siblings, Everett Reffett, James Reffett, Willis Reffett, Bill Reffett, Rose Brown, Amanda Thompson, Zola Reffett and Ida Lowe; and his son-in-law Eddie Short.
He is survived by: his wife Lucille Vanderpool Reffitt of Bellefonte; his children, Kenny Reffitt (Michelle) of Greenup, KY and Debbie Short of Raceland, KY; his siblings, Gary Reffett (Katrina) of Greenup, Helen Caudill of Flemingsburg, KY, Joann Bauman (Kenneth) of Cincinnati, OH and Nancy Stafford (John) of Ormond Beach, FL; and his grandchild Chaz Wireman (Sabrina) of Flatwoods. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and host of extended family and friends.
