He was predeceased by: his father William "Bill" Nance; his wife Mary Louise Blankenship Nance; his son Charles "Pee Wee" Nance; his granddaughter Melissa Nance; and his siblings, Arnold, Elmer, Garold, Howard, Jimmy, Loyd, Billy, Ruah, Eva and Marie.
He is survived by: his daughters, Marsha Bowling (Russell), Teresa Roark (Jim) and Phyllis Ann Houtkooper. He is also survived by four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
