It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leona Smith (Flatwoods, Kentucky), who passed away on March 25, 2023, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Willard Chapman and Myrtle Chapman; her husband George C. Smith Jr.; and her siblings, Willard Chapman Jr., Carl Chapman, Opal Stanley and Wilma Pelfrey.
She is survived by: her sons, George Randall Smith (Mary Jo) and Gregory A. Smith (Nancy); and her grandsons, George Gregory Smith, Richard Flynn and James Flynn. She is also survived by her family and friends.
