It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Daniel Patton Cooksey of Flatwoods, Kentucky, born in Ashland, Kentucky, who passed away on December 17, 2021, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Miller Cooksey and Ellen Hearne Cooksey; his brother Joe Bill Cooksey; and his niece Joyce Chadwell. He is survived by: his wife Ann Harmon Cooksey of Flatwoods; his mother-in-law Freida Harmon of Greenup; his sisters-in-law, Pam Rice (Mickey) of Summit and Carolyn Cooksey of Bedford; his niece Gayla Applegate of California; and his nephew Joe Rice of Brooklyn, NY..
