He was predeceased by: his parents, Gilford Reece and Bertha May Reece; and his son-in-law Jerry Vincent. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy "Dot" Reece; his children, Teresa Simmons (Steve), Sharon Vincent, Rita Turner (Carroll), Clarence "James" Reece, Jr. (Debbie) and Ron Reece (Wendy); and his sisters, Lucille Coomer and Lynette Steinmetz. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; many beloved great- grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
