He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Ned and Hallie Mae Long (Kelley); his wife Pauline Long; and his son Ronald Lee Long. He is survived by: his daughters, Marie Long Breeden (Tom) of Smithfield, Marline Long of Shelbyville, Mary Ann Bates (Scott) of Eminence and Elizabeth Boggs (Sean) of Lexington; and his daughter-in-law Barbara (Pleasureville).
