She was predeceased by: her mother Laura Mason (Wright) of Virginia; her husband Robert Dale Whitney, Sr.; her siblings, Valedia Roberts, Geraldine Carr and Julius Mason, Jr.; and her nephew Lamarr Winburn.
She is survived by: her father Julius Mason, Sr. of Eminence; and her sons, Robert Dale Whitney, Jr. (Janet) of Louisville and Roderick Dale Whitney, Sr. of Shelbyville.
