She was predeceased by: her husband Charles Edward Holmes; her parents, Walter Leslie and Gertrude May Woods Dishon; and her siblings, Edward Dishon, Opal Thornton and Porter Dishon.

She is survived by: her son Charles Lynn Holmes; and her brother Creston Dishon.

Memorials may be made to the Seventh Day Adventist Church, 5235 Taylor Mill Rd., Taylor Mill, KY 41015 or Fairhaven Rescue Mission, 260 West Pike St., Covington, KY 41011.
