It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald Ray Smith of Elsmere, Kentucky, born in Ashland, Kentucky, who passed away on December 11, 2020, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Clark and Irene Mae Spence Smith; his wife June Marie Bennett; and his siblings, Roy Clark Smith, Jr., Charles W. "Bill" Smith, Larry Roger Smith and Mary Ann Smith.
He is survived by: his daughters, Holly Anne Johnson (Bill) of Walton, Pamela Kaye Archambault (Beau) of Burlington, Anna Marie Collins (Darin) of Corinth and Amy Lynn Souther (Mike) of Dry Ridge; his siblings, Ronald Lee Smith (late Erna) of El Paso, TX, James Darrell Smith (Janice) of Crittenden, Douglas Smith (late Wilma) of Owenton and Phyllis Irene Smith Knarr of Dry Ridge; and his grandsons, Cody Melcher, Dalton Johnson, Payton Johnson, Gregory Collins (Autumn), Michael Chase Souther, Miller Souther, Ryan Collins and Ike Archambault.
