He is survived by: his mother Evadean Phelps; his children, Joshua Sears (Nicole) and Sarah Sears; his siblings, Dwight Sears, Douglas Sears (Paula), Marvin Sears (Donna), Kathy McClanahan (Mike) and Marsha Sears (Greg Barnes); and his grandson Simon Sears. He is also survived by several Nieces and Nephews.
