He was predeceased by: his father Bob Fuqua; his stepfather Horace Foster; and his brothers, Clyde Fuqua, Willie Fuqua, John Fuqua and Carl Jeffrey Foster.
He is survived by: his mother Thelma Kilgore of Elkton; his daughters, Tiara of Louisville and Shanna Fuqua of Louisville; his stepchildren, Anthony of Louisville and Candice Newby of Louisville; and his sisters, Vivian Webb (Samuel) of Louisville, Georgia Diggs (Herbert) of Columbia, Dorothy Woods of Columbia, Angela Grinter (Larry) of Elkton and Oralene Day of Nashville. He is also survived by eight grandchildren.
