With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lynda Nell Knight of Elkton, Kentucky, born in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, who passed away on December 3, 2022 at the age of 65. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Buckalew, Sr. and Mae Garris Buckalew; and her siblings, Theo A. Buckalew, LaVergne Buckalew and Brenda Gayle Harrin.
She is survived by: her husband Billy D. Knight of Elkton; her children, Markus Buckalew, April Robertson (Chris) of Oak Grove, Mellisa Lawson (Tony) of Trenton and Janita Cornelius (Jimmy) of Seale, Alabama; and her siblings, Harold Buckalew Jr. of Seminary, Donald Ray Buckalew of Petal, Mississippi, Marchia Craft of Brandon, Dorothy McGrew of Brooklyn and Mary Whigham of Petal, Mississippi. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
