He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Marshall and Hettie Cockriel Marshall; his son Jamey Marshall; and his sisters, Betty Davenport, Sally Case, Yvonne Parrish, Lydia Estelle Whittaker and Brenda Henley.

He is survived by: his sister Lawanda Whittaker of Elkton.
