He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Thomas Edwards and Floella Edwards; his brothers, Bobby Edwards, Donald Edwards and Danny Edwards; his daughter Kristy Edwards Tucker; his son-in-law Coby Tucker; and his granddaughter Kaileigh Tucker.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Sue Edwards; his children, Tracy Edwards Best (Michael) and Eddie Shawn Edwards (Jill); his siblings, Tommy, Tony Edwards and Sue Woodson; his grandchildren, Brandon Wilson, Lauryn Kinkade (Kameron), Kate Edwards, Kristian Best and Kyrsten Best; his great grandchild Arlen Kinkade; and his mother-in-law Lucyle Willis.
