It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Daryl T. Templeman (Elkton, Kentucky), born in Hopkinsville, Kentucky, who passed away on August 30, 2022, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Carl T. Templeman. He is survived by: his mother Cynthia Templeman of Elkton; his wife Susie Templeman of Claymour; his daughters, Jill Harton (Michael) of Hopkinsville, KY and Hannah Jolly (Matt) of Elkton, KY; his siblings, Delinda McCormick (Joe) of Cadiz, KY, Phil Templeman (Reta) of Elkton, Gary Templeman (Vivian) of Elkton and Randall Templeman (Pam) of Richmond, KY; and his grandchildren, Cooper, Ava Harton, Ty and Emma Jolly.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Pleasant Hill Cemetery Fund in care of Gary Templeman 181 Paul Hurt Road Elkton, KY or Kentucky United Methodist Childrens Home 1115 Ashgrove Road, Nicholasville, KY 40356.

Deryl had such a friendly, confident, and mischievous manner. I will never forget an incident when was pastor at Pleasant Hill, straight out of seminary. One Sunday I was so focused on serving Communion that I forgot all about receiving an offering. Deryl took some money out of his wallet, stood in the back, and waved it back and forth to catch my attention.”
