She was predeceased by: her parents, Elisha Adkins and Blanche Bevins Adkins; her husband James Rose; and her brother Larry Adkins. She is survived by: her close friend Gobel Bartley; her sons, Jimmie Ratliff (Tabatha) of Pikeville, James Gregory Rose (Whitney) of Pikeville and Brandon Rose (Jessica) of Elkhorn City, Kentucky.; and her siblings, Johnny Adkins, Jack Adkins of Floyd County, Phyllis Adkins of Richmond and Eva Brooks of Robinson Creek. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
