We are sad to announce that on July 11, 2022, at the age of 97, Stanley Paul Parnell of Elizabethtown, Kentucky, born in Columbia, Kentucky passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Emmett Parnell and Maddie Hill Parnell; and his wife Helen Marie Parnell. He is survived by: his children, Stanley Clinton Parnell (Eula), Denneth "Denny" Parnell (Dianne), Bradley Norton Parnell, Damian Paul Parnell (Sarah), Monica Ann Meredith (Keith), Jill Renay Parnell and Angela Marie Parnell; and his siblings, Jesse Parnell, Willard Parnell (Martha), Harmon Parnell (Nancy), Allan Parnell (Bunny), Lewis Parnell (Eleen) and Del Westerfield. He is also survived by ten grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to, Marine Corps League of Elizabethtown, Forever Young Vets or Bluegrass Honor Flight.
