With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James S. Sims of Elizabethtown, Kentucky, born in Grayson, Kentucky, who passed away on January 5, 2023 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Maurice Sims; and his siblings, Bernice Osnoe, Pauline Sims, Mary Doris Douthitt, Cletus Sims, Bernard Sims and Donald Sims.
He is survived by: his siblings, Clevie J. Sims (Gerry), John Sims (Eva), Barbara Robinson, Bernetta Higdon (Milburn) and Brenda Bratcher (Don); his sister-in-law Yvonne Sims; and his caregivers, Suzanne and Steve Wright. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
