He was predeceased by: his children, Joseph Brill III and Teresa Brill; his granddaughter Cambria Brill; his siblings, Ralph "Buddy" Brill, Bobby Brill, Connie Schaffer, Susie Brill and Donna Flier; and his parents, Joseph Sr. Brill and Cecilia Hutt Brill.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Blackwell Brill of Lake City; his children, Peggy Sue Crain (Mary) of Peoria, IL, Ricky Brill (Susan) of Grand Rivers, David Brill (Angie) of Pekin, IL, Jonathan Brill (Alex) of Kansas City, KS and Christopher Brill (Margaret) of Hickory, KY; and his siblings, Della Bohn (David) of Glasford, IL, Shirley Siebert (Gale) of Pekin, IL and Tommy Brill (Janet) of Peoria, IL.. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.
