She was predeceased by: her grandson Rodney Barnes, Jr.; and her children-in-law, Ronnie Cobb and Susan Koeninger DeWald. She is survived by: her children, Ronald DeWald Coleman of Lexington, Phillip DeWald (Nancy), Marty DeWald (Jenny) of Demossville, Charles DeWald of Ft. Thomas, Teresa Barnes (Rodney) of Alexandria and Shelly Cobb of Cold Spring; her grandchildren, Corey DeWald, Rachel DeWald, Megan Wood (Kyle), Max DeWald (Megan), Mike DeWald (Hailey), Jacob DeWald, Nick DeWald (Taylor), Maria DeWald, Christie Prince, Angela Barnes, Ashley Gosney (Michael), Jacob McClurg and Josh McClurg (Julia); and her great grandchildren, Willow, Whitley, Warrick, Wiley Wood, Charlie DeWald, Jayla, Paisley, Ariyah Young, Samuel MacEntire, Emerson Barnes Janszen, Kylie Smith, Addilyn Barnes, Malia, Alayna, Makenna Gosney, Graham, Henry, Noah and James McClurg. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church (202 2nd St, Falmouth, KY 41040). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the St. Francis Xavier Church (202 2nd St, Falmouth, KY 41040).
