He was predeceased by: his parent Willie Houts; and his grandparents, Carl, Agnes Howard, Daniel and Alta Houts.
He is survived by: his mother Linda Houts (Howard); his wife Christy Houts (Petrey); his son William Charles Houts; his sister Angela (Craig Brewer); and his nephews, Daniel and Benjamin Brewer.
