He is survived by: his grandchildren, Patrick Sheldon Maddox and Mattie Alana Oaks; and his siblings, John Shelton, Bill (Carolyn Shelton), Tea Shelton, David (Velma Shelton), Elizabeth (Gene Manning), Dale Julian and Mary (Glenn Smith Many). He is also survived by Many nieces, nephews and friends.
