He was predeceased by: his parents, Oran Patterson and Emma Greer Patterson; and his siblings, Timothy Wayne Patterson and Joyce Bryan. He is survived by: his wife Linda Gail Brummett Patterson of Crab Orchard; his children, Lanetta Lunsford (Jason) of Stanford, Rhonda Patterson of Stanford and Ronald "Arrin" Patterson of Crab Orchard; his siblings, Billy Patterson of Waynesburg, W. C, Donald Ray Patterson (Janice) of McKinney, David Patterson of Stanford, Juanita Padgett of Danville, Nancy Wren (James) of McKinney and Patricia Merrell of Nicholasville, KY; his grandchildren, Courtney, Harley, Bricen, Jayden and Kaylee; and his great grandchildren, Graven, Cash, Daisie, Case and Ben. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
